Inauguration of Centre for Manipur–Thailand Co-operation Studies & Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies

Manipur International University (MIU) proudly announces the inauguration of two significant academic and research initiatives — the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies and the Centre for Manipur–Thailand Co-operation Studies. These centers reflect the university’s commitment to addressing regional challenges while strengthening international engagement and academic collaboration.

Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies: The newly established Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies aims to address the long-standing conflict-related challenges in Manipur and contribute to sustainable peace-building efforts. The centre is designed to function as a hub for research, education, and policy dialogue.

Centre for Manipur–Thailand Co-operation Studies

Aligned with the Government of India’s Act East Policy, MIU has also established the Centre for Manipur–Thailand Co-operation Studies to promote academic, cultural, and economic engagement between Manipur and Thailand.
